PROFESSIONAL NURSING CARE IN NORWICH
Twin Oaks Nursing Home offers nursing care provided by a team of nursing assistants led by fully qualified NMC registered nurses, with vast experience of working within the health and care sectors.
The nursing home offers residential care, pre-retirement age included, with six double rooms available for couples or same sex individuals who may be seeking assistance with their independence in their daily routines, including washing, toileting, dressing and medicine management.

Person-centred care
Twin Oaks offers an on-site management team that is approachable and knowledgeable about all aspects of care, including funding, end of life care, access to medical services, hospitalisation and transportation.
Staff provide fresh, home cooked food, prepared daily by a fully trained catering team, with a seasonal menu and various choices, the menu rotates every fortnight, so residents have variation and choice every day.
Professional laundered bedding is provided by a partner, alongside dedicated on site facilities for the residents’ laundry and clothing.
Social spaces
At Twin Oaks a wide range of activities and musical entertainment is put on throughout the year. There is a large mobile digital screen, and residents can access videos, music and games using this device.
Spread across four floors, each floor has its own individual lounge and dining room, to encourage social engagement and interaction where desired. A social garden space is also offered, including the recently built garden room, where residents can enjoy a tranquil, peaceful space, with private areas when needed. Full wheelchair accessibility is available, so every resident has the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.
Group activities and social time
Our on-site activity coordinator, has a vast array of activities for residents to choose from, including bedside activities such as board games, puzzles and jigsaws, and group activities such as bingo, quizzes, arts and crafts, and finally physical activities such as keep fit classes and ball games.
Personal care and shopping services
Staff can assist residents with visiting a local shopping centre where needed, the hairdresser visits weekly as well as the chiropodist, optician and dentist making regular visits to the home.
Our on-site hairdresser, visits the residents weekly to cut hair and provide nail care if required. Tracy can also provide aromatherapy to the residents, and a weekly shopping service is provided on behalf of residents who cannot access transport/family members.
